Help Channel understands the close link between environmental stewardship and sustainable development. Lacking responsible environmental practices, all the benefits of development could be quickly negated. In both response and prevention, Help Channel has established nurseries around the country that have raised millions of tree seedlings. These nurseries are instrumental in the reforestation of ecologically important watershed areas, and in the creation of meaningful employment for poor men and women in rural communities. Help Channel is also responsible for reforestation and works to educate the population to the benefits of responsible utilization of environmental resources.

With our focus on environmental rehabilitation, HCB also engages in the surrounding communities to rehabilitate infrastructure such as roads, bridges and schools.
